About the Book
In Clarity of Vision, my second Environmental Photography book, I selected a series of images created throughout a three-year period from late 2011 to 2014. These photographs can make the ordinary remarkable, discovering intricate beauty in various subjects, including a snowfield, fire pit, deep gullies, prehistoric caves, classical sculptures, botanical gardens, unpopulated forest, to the essence of floral colours, and many more. It is precisely this sort of clarity of vision that distinguishes my Environmental Photography at its best.

About the Book
Captured Characters is a compilation of street, documentary, concert and portraiture photography as a means to showcase my work. But the scale of the task was to pursue my enthusiasm and passion with a newly acquired Nikon D700 digital single-lens reflex camera.
Most of my subjects felt comfortable about themselves and offered something different to my lenses. It's not magic. I leave my ego at the door and try to see every opportunity and movement as potentially riveting. Success in people photography is being observant and one-on-one with individuals from various walks of life.

About the Book
In Aperture Wise - my first fine art photography book - I selected from my work a volume featuring Australian geographic themes including: scenic, nature, architectural, fauna and flora. My most reliable tool when photographing the environment is my impression or awareness about a location. Time is also one of my most valuabel resources - every hour offers a different type of light and each subject is affected by the changing light in its own distinct way.
I utilise this shifting illumination to translate certain attributes into these pictures which ultimately stimulate more feelings than visions alone. I enjoy exploring forests, beaches, sandstone terrain, rivers, jungle as well as vineyards and urbanised heritage sites with a camera and appropriate lens. My aim in Aperture Wise has been to show the natural world and a few architectural themes, almost as if humans did not exist in it.
